Yashasvi Jaiswal hailed his diligence and the skills he learned from conversing with more experienced players like MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli after his 77-run exhibition helped Rajasthan Royals defeat Chennai Super Kings by 32 runs. Rajasthan Royals, who were competing in their 200th match, made sure to win their maiden game in Jaipur during IPL 2023 and doubled up on CSK after defeating Dhoni's team earlier this year by three runs.
The Royals, who now have 10 points from 8 games, have surpassed CSK to take the top spot in the IPL 2023 points table. The Yellow Army was tied for third place with RR and Gujarat Titans on points, but they had a worse net run rate.
