Canara Bank has developed a unique program for its clients to submit Forms 15G and 15H. Customers of Canara Bank may use doorstep banking to submit their 15 Form G/H. The bank has also abolished fees for three doorstep banking services each month for clients who are over 75. The unique program is only available until May 24. Canara Bank tweeted about the same thing and shared it with the following message: “Now easily submit your 15G/15H forms through Canara Bank's Doorstep Banking.”
Customers have the option of using this method, SMS, netbanking, or the Canara Bank website to submit their Form 15 G/H.

Enter your account information and choose the “deposits” option.
In the retail banking section, select “Tax Exemption Form 15G/H.”

Type 15G the amount of additional income, if any, and send it to 7036000157 to submit your Form 15 G/H through SMS.
Forms 15G and 15H: What are they?
To prevent the bank from automatically deducting tax deducted at source (TDS) from their interest payments, customers must send Form 15G/15H to the bank. If the person's yearly income (including interest) is below the tax level, they must submit the form to the bank. The bank won't take TDS out of any interest that is credited to the customer's account after that. Form 15H must be filed for senior citizens, whereas Form 15G is needed for those under the age of 60.
Canara Bank offers doorstep banking:
In 100 locations, the bank has begun offering doorstep banking. People may go to the bank's website to get the list of centers that provide the service. The service fee would be Rs 75 + Rs 13.5 in Goods and Services Tax. This implies that users of the service will need to pay Rs 88.50.
